School Traditions

Traditions abound at the Canterbury Children’s Center. Magical gnomes romp throughout the pinegrove, children dance around the maypole, seeds are poked into the children’s garden, and families celebrate at the fall harvest sale. There’s a candlelit holiday concert in the woods, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and an art show rich in the creativity of young artists. All traditions are interconnected with each other and within the cycles of the academic curriculum.
